The first edition had one major part of the project missing - the work on The Historic BBC Studios.
At the time, it was felt that as the work on the studios had been halted at the end of the enabling works - the images might give a misleading impression - showing little more than what looked like plastic sheeting used in the encapsulation of the asbestos sprayed onto the walls back in 1936.
However, two years have now passed, and it is important that this second edition shows as complete a picture of the restoration as possible.
Most of the additional forty pages are given over to documenting the current state of the transmission halls on the ground floor and the studios and anciliary equipment rooms on the first floor.
